Audio conferences from the CERN standard videoconferencing rooms
Audioconferences can be help from any CERN standard videoconferencing room. For this one just needs to browse the phonebook of the videoconferencing codec installed in the room and call:
- the 76000 (the CERN Automated Phone Conference system)
- the 77000 (the Operator based Phone Conference system)
Please be aware that to ensure good audio quality it's very important that your distance from the microphone is 2-3 m maximum.
In order to call external numbers one needs to place a call from the room system to 9976111 provide a budget code and the number that one wishes to dial. the call-in functionality (to call the room from outside) is not available yet.
